2" X12" Velcro Hook for stopping Matting Creep or Walking

This velcro is designed for keeping indoor matting from walking or creeping on commercail low nap floors. Adhesive will not transfer to carpeting, matting can be repositioned as needed. Works only with vinyl backed mats with smooth surface and ONLY on commercial low pile looped carpet, will not work on shag or other cut pile carpet surfaces. Must be applied using a commercial heat gun, hair dryer will not get hot enough to activate adhesive.
Place velcro on the back of a cleaned mat with adhesive side touching mat, heat with gun and use a tool to push the velcro into the mat backing being careful not to heat the velcro too hot melting velcro hooks. Use the handle end of a metal pair of scissors to work the velcro into the matting with the activated adhesive. Heat until glue bonds with mat backing. If properly done, velcro permanently bonds to nylon surface. If the velcro doesn't stick, you need to increase the heat slightly and use a tool to push the velcro into the matting without cooling the mat or the velcro.
Use enough for two pieces in the shape of an "L" in each corner and one addition piece per two feet of matting alternating from the left side to the right side of the mat about 12" in from each edge for the full length of the mat. This amount of velcro is needed to keep the mat from sliding.
